LINK+ Catalog
- LINK+ is a union catalog of contributed holdings from participating libraries in California and Nevada.
- Authorized customers from member libraries can electronically request an item not available in their own library and it will be delivered to their local library for them for check-out.
- LINK+ may be accessed directly at csul.iii.com or while using the library online catalog.
- Books and media may be borrowed if they are listed as "available" in the union catalog.
- Requested items will be received in the local library in ten to fourteen days.
- Books and media will be held for up to 10 days.
- Items are checked out for 21 days, and may be renewed, unless requested by another customer.
- There is no charge to request or borrow LINK+ materials
- Pick-up notices are sent by email. If you do not have an email address on your library account, you will need to provide one to be notified of your LINK+ holds.
- LINK+ users can have 10 items on request and 10 items checked out at a time.
- Temporary card holders will need to provide proof of address for full borrower privileges, including LINK+.
Important:
- The replacement fee for lost or damaged Link+ items is up to $115 per item.
Making a Link+ request
- First search the Stanislaus County Library catalog. If Stanislaus County Library doesn’t own the item you want to borrow, click on the Link+ hyperlink at the top of the catalog search results page.
- The search term will be carried over and the search will continue in the Link+ catalog
- When you locate the item, click on the ”request” button.
- If the book is available, you will be asked “with which institution are you affiliated?” Scroll through the list and select Stanislaus County Library.
- In the next step, fill in your name, barcode, PIN (last four digits of the phone number on your account.) and select the branch where you wish to pick up materials.
