Description: As Modesto grew, cars cruising McHenry would turn around further and further north. Orangeburg Avenue and the Pep Boys parking lot was a popular point. Later, it was Briggsmore Avenue and the U-Save Automatic gas station. In this photo some cruisers have stopped at McHenry Village.
