Button Maker Craft
Where: Turlock Library

Tuesday, December 16
        4:00 p.m.

Have fun designing and pressing your own large and small button pins. Sports themes, super heroes, book themes, "selfies," or other photos you provide can be made into pins that look great on backpacks, key chains, or anywhere you like. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Melted Snowman Craft
Where: Hughson Library
When: Wednesday, December 17
        3:00 p.m.

Teens are invited to make their own melted snowman. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Snowman Craft
Where: Patterson Library
When: Wednesday, December 17
        3:30 p.m.

Make your own snowman to keep you company in the winter months
. Books will be available to browse and to checkout.

 

Felt Owl Ornament Craft
Where: Riverbank Library
When: Wednesday, December 17
          4:00 p.m.

Adults and teens are invited to the Riverbank Library to make colorful felt owl ornaments. These cute little owls are hand sewn. Adults and teens will learn to hand stitch to create a unique and colorful owl ornament.  Books on sewing and crafts will be displayed. All supplies are provided by the Friends of the Riverbank Library.

 

Ornament Staining Craft
Where: Keyes Library

        3:00 p.m.

Tweens, teens, and adults can make stained glass ornaments. Glass ornaments will be provided, however, supplies are limited. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Craft-a-palooza
Where: Turlock Library
When: Tuesday, January 13
        4:00 p.m.

Lots of different arts and crafts to choose from. Pick one or more for fun and learning. There's sure to be a project to please any age, simple and entertaining. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Tile Art for Teens
Where: Hughson Library
When: Wednesday, January 14
        3:00 p.m.

Teens are invited to create art from basic kitchen tile. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Make a Sock-toe-pus
Where: Turlock Library
When: Tuesday, January 20
        4:00 p.m.

It looks like an Octopus but doesn't need water. Bring your own knee sock of any color or design, or use one of ours to create your personal Sock-toe-pus character. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Perler Bead Craft
Where: Keyes Library
When: Wednesday, January 21
        1:00 p.m.

:Children, tweens, and teens can stop by the library to make unique designs using perler beads. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Bracelet Craft
Where: Newman Library
When: Tuesday, January 27
        6:00 p.m.

:Use colorful embroidery thread to make friendship bracelets including heart and chevron designs. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Perler Bead Craft
Where: Denair Library
When: Wednesday, January 28
        3:00 p.m.

:Make your own perler bead key chain, coaster, or just for fun design. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

 

Free Knitting and Crocheting Classes
Where: Waterford Library

Knitting and crochet samples

Knitting and crocheting are a blast. Whether you are a beginner or need help with a special project this fun group is here for you. Please call ahead to confirm class, 874-2191.
