Cover to Cover: In 'n Out Burger Reading Program
Saturday, March 7 - Saturday, April 18
Where: All Stanislaus County Library locations
Ages 4 - 12

Children can participate by signing up at any Stanislaus County Library branch. Write the book titles on a special reading log and after children read 5 books at their level, they get a certificate for a free hamburger or cheeseburger. Limit of 3 certificates per participant while supplies last.

Títiri-Tátara Puppet Program

Casa Guanajuato les invita a celebrar el día de los niños con la obra de teatro con títeres, Diferencias. Diferencias es una obra de teatro de títeres de varilla que nos presenta la aventura de tres hermanas: Un ojito, Dos ojitos y Tres ojitos, quienes crecen a la sombra y tutela de un extraño árbol el cual tiene un gran rencor contra los humanos. Una historia que nos alerta sobre la importancia de la tolerancia a la diversidad racial, apoyando así, el creciente problema de bulling.

Stanislaus County Library and Casa Guanajuato invite you to celebrate the Day of the Child with a puppet story titled Differences. Differences is a play of rod puppets that presents the adventures of three sisters: One Little Eye, Two Little Eyes and Three Little Eyes, who grow under the protection of a strange tree which has a grudge against humans. A story that alerts us to the importance of tolerance for racial diversity thus supporting the growing problem of bullying.

The day will start with Riverbank's Ballet Folklorico dancers, followed by a bilingual Story Time. There will also be three crafts: Tissue Paper Flowers, Noisemakers, and Festive Paper Lanterns. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Riverbank Library.
