A high-energy, Australia-themed show combining music, culture, science, puppetry, comedy, anti-bullying, and audience participation. Children and adults who attend will enjoy the experience of a live-action performer and will learn about the traditional music from another country.

Come and make a yummy superhero treat to take home. Turn an ordinary lollipop in to a super lollipop by decorating it with a cape and mask. Coloring sheets will also be available for you to apply your creativity.

Superhero Training Academy

Receive an official Superhero Checklist and complete the five challenges on your list to earn a certificate.  The challenges include making a superhero mask, cape and cuffs, reading to develop brain power, using your senses to develop X-Ray vision and more.

Superhero Academy Sign-Ups

Children ages 5-12 can participate in the Keyes Library Superhero Academy every Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from July 7 - August 4. During this program, children will listen to a story and then construct various parts of a superhero costume including a mask, cuffs, shield, and a cape. On August 4 at 2:30 p.m. participants will graduate from the Superhero Academy and there will be an end of Summer Reading party. Due to the nature of this program, ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
