Computer Class Descriptions

CLASSES IN ENGLISH

Computer Basics

A basic introduction to computers, including an explanation of the parts of the computer, a tour of Windows, and simple tasks.

Beginning Internet

This workshop will introduce you to the Internet and the World Wide Web and teach you how to search on the Web.

Intermediate Internet

This follows the Beginning Internet and focuses on more accurate searching, using search engines and the Invisible Web. (Recommended: Full knowledge of the Beginning Internet class.)

Beginning Word

This workshop teaches you the basic functions of Microsoft Word and will introduce you to many other features of word processing.

Intermediate Word

This workshop is a continuation of Beginning Word and will teach you additional basic functions of Microsoft Word .

Excel

This workshop will teach you the basics of spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.

Power Point

This workshop will teach you the basics of Microsoft Power Point.

Publisher

This workshop will teach you the basics of Microsoft Publisher.
