Title: Winterdance: The Fine Madness of Running the Iditarod
Author:
 Paulsen, Gary
Call Number:
798.8 Pau
Star Rating: starstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Morgan

It's a funny and inspiring book to read, and it could make someone who hates the cold and hates dogs get out and run the Iditarod!
I liked how it was non-fiction, but I could read it and it felt like fiction. Winterdance also sends a powerful message about people and the relationship they can have with dogs.

I would give it to one of my friends that is a girl because the book is filled with hilarious things to laugh about. I just loved the way that the author puts the main character in a situation that can happen to any girl at the age of 13, and being able to deal with those situations.

Seer and the Sword
Title: The Seer and the Sword
Author:
  Hanley, Victoria
Star Rating: starstarstarstarstar

The Seer and the Sword is a relatively long book, but this book gives great details. My favorite thing about this book, was how all the characters lives ended up weaving together for an awesome ending.
Thr3e
Title:Thr3e
Author:
  Dekker, Ted
Star Rating: starstarstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Hannah
I would because it is a very interesting book with lots of plot twists and it makes you think. I also liked how it mentioned Christianity but only to an extent to make people think about whether there is a God and if they belive in Him. Also that all sins are sins no matter how petty and simple they may seem. I can't really tell you without giving the book away. If I say anymore it will ruin the read. But it is very impelling. And at the end I didn't want it to be true.
Pilgrims of Rayne

Throwing Stones
Title: Throwing Stones
Author:
Collier, Kristi

It's a good book that teaches you the true meaning of friendship. One of the things that got me interested in this book is that the main character, Andy, is a basketball nut just like me.
Great and Terrible Beauty
Title: A Great and Terrible Beauty
Author:
  Bray, Libba
Star Rating: starstarstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Mary
I would give it to my friend to read because it would make great conversation. The book really keeps you going and you never want to put it down. Libba Bray does a very good job of describing the characters and creating great suspense. There were some points in the book when I was reading at night where I got scared to turn the lights off! I recommend anyone to read this book because it will keep you guessing.
Sealed with a diss
Title: Sealed With a Diss
Author:
 Harrison, Lisi
Star Rating: starstarstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Alysson
I would give this book to a friend because anybody can learn to love any of these books in the series. They show the tough part of fitting in and realizing who your true friends are, while keeping you entertained with clique troubles. I loved how I could relate to their lives and everyday girl problems. All this together made it a "hard to put down" book for me.
Artemis Fowl
Title: Artemis Fowl
Author:
 Colfer, Eoin
Star Rating: starstarstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Nicolaus
It is a very interesting book and a great beginning for its series. The characters are definitely the most fun to track in this book.
Major Crush
Title: Major Crush
Author:
 Echols, Jennifer
Star Rating: starstarstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Francesca
I thought this book was great. I even got in trouble because I would be caught up in the story when my mother would ask me to do something. It appealed highly to my interest and the story is something many teens can relate to.
Flowers for Algernon
Title: Flowers for Algernon
Author:
 Keyes, Daniel
Star Rating: starstarstarstar
Teen Reviewer: Ashley
It is interesting and has a good message. It is realistic and seems that could actually happen. It teaches you that you should not be cruel to a person just because they are different.
